Four goals by Kamryn Van Batavia as Luverne beat Fairmont – The Rink Live


Kamryn Van Batavia was in deadly shape when the Luverne beat the Fairmont by 8-0. Kamryn Van Batavia scored an incredible four goals and was instrumental to Luverne’s two team points.

Payton Behr, Gretta McClure, Izzy Steensma and Ellisyn Van Batavia scored the remaining goals for the road side.

The Cardinals took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Izzy Steensma. Tenley Behr and Macie Edstrom assisted.

The Cardinals increased the lead to 2-0 in the middle of the first when Kamryn Van Batavia scored, assisted by Payton Behr.

The Cardinals’ Kamryn Van Batavia increased the lead to 3-0 late in the first, assisted by Payton Behr and Izzy Steensma.

The Cardinals scored three goals in second period an held the lead 6-0 going in to the second break.

Kamryn Van Batavia increased the lead to 7-0 early into the third period, assisted by Payton Behr.

The Cardinals made it 8-0 when Kamryn Van Batavia found the back of the net, assisted by Tenley Behr halfway through the third. The 8-0 goal was the last one of the game.

This makes an impressive four straight victories for the Cardinals.
