BATAVIA — Assemblyman Steve Hawley is reminding area fire departments about grant money being offered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. FEMA has $90 million to award to assist departments, Hawley, R-Batavia, said in a news release. The application period for the awards will begin between Jan. 6 and 9 and will continue for six weeks, subject to change.
